Several local students were among those named to the Dean's List at Iowa State University in Ames for the spring semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must have a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours.
Tyler Beenken and Taylor Howard, both of Buckingham, were among those honored. Beenken is majoring in Agricultural Studies, while Howard is studying Elementary Education.
Caleb Dvorak, a Landscape Architecture major, joins Erin Herink (Animal Science) and Lillian Howard (Genetics-AGLS) from Clutier.
Traer had seven students recognized on the Dean's List, including Tayler Buresh, who is studying Mechanical Engineering. Others were: Emily Ewoldt, Agricultural Studies; Morgan Halupnick, Kinesiology and Health; Kristin Kavalier, Management; Taylor Kvidera, Civil Engineering; Brian Seda, Pre-Business; and Ryan Thorne, Journalism and Mass Communication.
Sabrina Groenenboom (Biological/Pre-Medical Illustration) and Elliott Murray (Kinesiology and Health) from Chelsea were also named to the Dean's List.
